It was a day like any other. I was organizing the files in my office when suddenly I hear my phone ringing. "Doctor Erryton? There's someone wanting to talk to you. She's coming in right now." "Now it's just you and me." She said so as the big doors closed behind me. As I stood ready for any attacks... "..." "What is it? I thught you were going to search the house..." And just as so, I went to the front door to see what the noise was. "..." Nothing, no signs of either Ms. Cobblewinters nor whoever was at the door... This is overly suspiscious so I figure I'd better leave this place. I got enough clues for the day. I go through the big doors and close them shut from outside - as I was walking, thinking that the person at the door could only be- "Doctor! Doctor! There you are!" A young man, probably in his twenties, came running in my direction with one of his hands waving. "..." "Doctor! Did your secretary call you before? Nah, doesn't matter - you probably figured it out by yourself!

"Doctor! I found something in the front yard of Ms. Cobblewinters house! Look!" As I bitterly regret having ever met him, the young man who goes by the name of Joseph starts shouting at me. I move near him and take a look at what he saw... "..." "What is that!? I mean, I know it's a paper and all but..." I stare at him to make him shut up - it seems to work. I take a look at the piece of paper. It says "Bed-Time Hotel - Room 282". Hmm... Looks like Joseph is looking at me and the note with his big annoying eyes. I hand it to him and leave for my office's garage. I know where that hotel is - it's the dirtiest corner of town.

"Sorry sir, but we cannot disclose such information." As the big-eyed idiot seems yet again confused I step in front of him and show the man behind the counter my private detective card. I enter the dark and previously locked room, flashlight in hand. Joseph looks flabbergasted at the whole situation. Inside I find a man - probably in his forties - lying down in a fetal position with a pool of dried blood around him. He's wearing nothing but his undergarments. "...Oh no..." The young man behind me still can't believe what he sees - and to think he wants to be a detective... I come closer to the victim and look for any sort of mark or anything that would tell me how he died... I end up finding a stab hole in his back - near his kidney. That means whoever did this used either a knife or some sort of sharp object.

And so it seems like Mr. Cobblewinters was the victim of a serial killer... But this doesn't make much sense. A serial killer has its mannerisms and maintains a low profile by hiding their bodies well. Mr. Cobblewinters was simply left there and - stranger still - only had a simple stab hole on his back! That was, by all accounts, a murder. But it's not a violent one - it pales in comparison to what the pictures in the room showed. To top it all off, that unexperienced idiot is leaving his DNA all over the bathroom (along with his lunch) and Ms. Cobblewinters is gone without a trace. Update! - November 2014

Hey you guys! I just decided to log into dA today randomly and found that I really miss the time when I visited this site daily (sometimes several times a day XD). Well, just so you guys know - I've been increidbly busy with college (I'm close to finishing the sixth semester out of ten - Computer Engineering) and have very little time for basically anything else that isn't studying - and that comes from someone who manages to go by studying less than most of my peers XP kind of lucky of me, I guess. I did some digital paintings these past few months (will hopefully upload them Friday here ;) ) aside from my usual doodles and stuff - you guy
